This website is dedicated to my wife Patty and my two children, Tristan and Marc. Patty has given me the ability to believe in myself and my work. My kids have always been there for me and I have tried to do the same for them.

Originally from Kentucky, I have been a South Florida resident since 1981. I started taking pictures and had my own darkroom at the age of 13. I began scuba diving in 1983 and have been taking underwater pictures since 1989. I am a former member of the South Florida Underwater Photographers Society. I did not do anything professionally as a photographer until after meeting my wife Patty. Together we have a business called Albin Arts where Patty extends the image of the photograph onto the frame using acrylic paint. Our work together can be viewed at our website www.albinarts.com .

The images you see on this website are of places I love to go and of what I love taking pictures of. I consider myself very lucky that what I love to take pictures of is what seems to sell the best. I have not had to try and alter what I do to market myself. If you love the outdoors, waterfalls, streams and snow capped mountains, underwater reefs with coral and fish, thickly wooded areas, tropical beaches, and the awe inspiring color of fall foliage in New England then this is the website you've been looking for.

I am very lucky to have visited some of the most beautiful places in the United States. My work is the result of endless hours of hiking back to areas numerous times and waiting for the perfect lighting conditions. Taking as many as 25-30 of the same shot hoping that at least one of them comes out just perfect for hanging on our walls.
